Veritas Academy - Annual Fund

The 2011-2012 Annual Fund officially began in October and ends the last day of June. Our goal is to raise $110,000. But as important as this financial goal is, equally important is our goal to have a fund whereby everyone within the Veritas community can contribute. Thus everyone is invited to be a part of the Annual Fund whether your gift is $50 or $20,000.

A gift to the Annual Fund helps to underwrite the operating budget of Veritas Academy. This ensures that Veritas Academy students have exceptional opportunities in the areas of academics, athletics and arts.

Each gift from the largest to the smallest helps us reach the greater goal of equipping the next generations of students to lead and transform culture through a distinctively classical and Christian education.

Direct Your Giving

In the Annual Fund you have an opportunity to direct your giving if you choose to. Gifts can be designated to the Area of Greatest Need or directed to a Family of Funds. When you give to the Family of Funds you have the opportunity to better match your personal giving preferences with our existing needs. Thus we have established a Family of Funds for you to direct your gift and ensure future excellence.

Area of Greatest Need

When you give to the Area of Greatest Need the administration will determine where your gift will make the greatest impact for the school. Gifts without a designation will automatically be directed to the Area of Greatest Need.

Science and Technology Fund

We need updated science textbooks and better lab equipment. We want to enhance our classrooms with power point projectors and Smart Boards.

Fine Arts Fund

Your gift will enhance our chorus, Madrigal Feast, and stage; expand our costumes, props and stage inventory, and provide for better Fine Arts productions.

Athletic Fund

Your gift enables our coaches to provide the proper equipment and access to appropriate athletic contests.

Friends of the Library Fund

Your gift to the Friends of the Library will help us replace worn out texts and add to individual classroom libraries.

Scholarship Fund

A little over 51% of our families require some sort of scholarship help in order to attend Veritas. Your gift makes this possible.

Ways to Give

You may make contributions of cash, stock, property and other assets. In addition, many corporations offer matching gift programs, allowing contributors to double or triple their contributions. Please contact your employer for information regarding this possibility.
