The 2009-2010 Annual Fund officially began in September and ends the last day of June. Our goal is to raise $125,000. But as important as this financial goal is, equally important is our goal to have a fund whereby everyone within the Veritas community can contribute. Thus everyone is invited to be a part of the Annual Fund whether your gift is $50 or $20,000.   

A gift to the Annual Fund helps to underwrite the operating budget of Veritas Academy. This ensures that Veritas Academy students have exceptional opportunities in the areas of academics, athletics and  arts.   

To reach $125,000 we need:  

1 family     to give $10,000

2 families   to give $7,500

4 families   to give $5,000

8 families   to give $2,500

16 families to give $1,250

32 families to give $625  and

64 families to give $300   

Each gift from the largest to the smallest helps us reach the greater goal of equipping the next generations of students to lead and transform culture through a distinctively classical and Christian education.   

Direct Your Giving

In the Annual Fund you have an opportunity to direct your giving if you want to. Gifts can be designated to the Area of Greatest Need or directed to a Family of Funds.   

Area of Greatest Need

When you give to the Area of Greatest Need the administration will determine where your gift will make the greatest impact for the school. Gifts without a designation will automatically be directed to the Area of Greatest Need.    

Family of Funds

When you give to the Family of Funds you have the opportunity to better match your personal giving preferences with our existing needs. Thus we have established a Family of Funds for you to direct your gift and ensure future excellence.     

Science and Technology Fund 

We want our students to investigate the wonders and the "hows and whys" of God's created order. Directing your funds to the Science and Technology Fund will enable us to provide better science equipment for our labs and technology for our classrooms.  

Fine Arts Fund

We want to nurture our students in the love of truth, beauty and goodness in all the God-given gifts of music, drama, and the visual arts. Directing your gift to the Fine Arts Fund will help to improve and expand our annual musicals and dramas, and our vocal and instrumental music and our art classes and electives.  

Athletic Fund

Athletics not only strengthen the bodies of our students, but strengthen their heart and soul as they learn self-discipline, godliness in the face of competition, and endurance in loss and victory. Giving to the Athletic Fund will help us to improve our current athletic offerings and to offer additional sports for our students.  

Friends of the Library Fund

We want our students to honor God in all they study and do. We recognize that the great writers of the past and present will challenge the students' thinking to consider how they today can honor God with their lives. Giving to the Library Fund will enable us to replace worn texts and to purchase new volumes for class and our future library.  

Scholarship Fund

We want to provide classical Christian education to as many students as possible. Giving to the scholarship fund enables us to offer financial assistance for needy families.    

Ways to Give

You may make contributions of cash, stock, property and other assets.  In addition, many corporations offer matching gift programs, allowing contributors to double or triple their contributions. Please contact your employer for information regarding this possibility.
