Veritas Academy was established in 1996 as a private Christian school committed to providing a Christian classical education to young people in primary and secondary levels. The doors were open to 26 students in the fall of 1996 and three full-time teachers. St. Thomas Episcopal Church hosted Veritas Academy at the inception. Since then we have steadily grown to our present size of 205 students, 19 full-time and 4 part-time teachers. In 1999 the Academy moved to its present location, the Upper Leacock Township Community building.

Over all this time the vision remains the same.

Veritas Academy serves its families by providing a distinctive Christian education, employing classical methodology and content and working together with the church to cultivate joyful young people whose lives reflect truth, beauty and goodness and are equipped to lead and transform culture through Christ.

We are blessed to have an ever increasing number of families catch this vision and value the Christian, classical approach to educating their children. As the numbers increase Veritas Academy looks forward to finding a permanent home that will meet its long term needs.

Currently Veritas Academy has a Building Fund set aside for exploring future building possibilities. In the coming years we anticipate a Capital Fund campaign will be in full swing. To contribute to the Building Fund simply send a donation to Veritas Academy and put the words "Building Fund" in the memo line or contact Rob Spykstra at 717-556-0690 or email him at rspykstra@veritasacademy.com in the Development Office.
