Fostering Curiosity & Nurturing Purpose

We believe that education is more than just acquiring knowledge and skills. Our school aims to help students discover their purpose in life, build fulfilling relationships, and succeed in their future careers. We do this by exposing them to various academic disciplines, extracurricular activities, and service projects that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and character traits necessary for a satisfying and meaningful life. We also encourage personal growth and spiritual formation by promoting self-reflection and deepening their understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.

Tending the Garden

We aim for students to seek truth, beauty, and goodness and to have a genuine relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In doing so, they share His love with others. We often use the metaphor of a garden to describe the importance of nurturing a student's heart and relationships, just like weeding and pruning to help a garden grow.

Decades of Meaningful Traditions

Ask any alumni or secondary student what makes Veritas so memorable, and chances are most of them will cite at least one of our unique school traditions. We believe that traditions impart greater meaning and joy to our lives and experiences, and we embrace the way that these meaningful traditions - whether rich and deep or downright silly and quirky - add to the story of our students’ education.

Our Unique Traditions

“Education is not a subject, and it does not deal in subjects, it is instead the transfer of a way of life.”

Serving the School, Our Community, and the World.

The central point of our mission is “serving.” In cultivating loving, serving, thinking students, we offer many opportunities for students of all ages to give their time, talents, and resources to help others and, in so doing, be the hands and feet of Christ to our school, our community, and the world.

Engaging and appreciating the Arts.

We believe that the arts are a powerful culture-shaping force that should be an integral part of classical Christian education, and our program is designed to help students use art to glorify God and appreciate its beauty.
