Drama Department Director

This is a part-time position that will work out of our campus at 26 Hillcrest Avenue.

This individual will:

- Be involved with school administration in establishing an excellent drama program that will train and highlight the dramatic arts skills of our students

- Assume all directing tasks for each of our school productions, including:

  • Secondary School spring play or musical
  • Madrigal Feast (every other year)
  • Grammar School (4th-6th grade) play
  • (potentially) Fall Dramatic Reading (on non-Madrigal years)

- Report to the Director of Marketing and Events, who will support and provide production oversight to this position.

- Need to work winsomely with student volunteers, parent volunteers, and other employed drama staff to ensure that ALL aspects of our school productions are considered, planned, trained, and supported.

The desired direction for the Drama Department at Veritas Academy is to showcase stories, dramas, and productions that align with our school mission and fit within the scope of a Classical Christian education.  Veritas Academy Thespians will continue to  tell stories that exemplify truth, beauty, and goodness within the Dramatic Arts.
