Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a part-time preschool teacher at our campus located at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. This individual will:

  • Cultivate loving, serving, thinking students by planning and implementing daily program activities for up to 10 preschoolers (ages 3-4)
  • Prepare a weekly lesson plan
  • Prepare a monthly newsletter
  • Stay current with required clearances
  • Obtain 12 hours of professional development/trainings each calendar year
  • Perform light cleaning duties (wiping tables, sweeping the floor)
  • Maintain communication with parents
  • Evaluate students' progress and create student progress reports twice a year
  • Be available for parent/teacher conferences twice a year.  

Preschool Teacher Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field OR
  • An associates degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and two years of experience with children
